How Much Does SHIBUYA SKY Cost? Ticket Prices and How to Buy
SHIBUYA SKY Ticket Prices
SHIBUYA SKY tickets are date- and time-specified tickets with a new entry slot every 20 minutes, and prices vary by entry time, with entry before 15:00 being cheaper. The adult (age 12 and over) prices below have been in effect officially since April 1, 2025, and were still in use when checked in September 2026 (tax included):
| Entry Time | Official Website WEB Ticket | On-site Counter Ticket |
|---|---|---|
| 10:00-14:59 | 2,700 yen | 3,000 yen |
| 15:00-21:20 | 3,400 yen | 3,700 yen |
Special Tickets and Discounts

Besides regular tickets, SHIBUYA SKY also offers a few special tickets and discounts, but the official side does not sell a separate “sunset ticket” or “night ticket.” To see the sunset and night view, you simply buy a regular ticket for a slot at 15:00 or later, which is why those slots cost more and are the most in demand. Children (ages 6-11, including 12-year-old elementary school students) pay a flat 1,200 yen for all time slots; these tickets are sold only at the ticket counter on the 14th floor, the child must be present in person, and they cannot be booked online. Children age 5 and under (including 6-year-olds not yet in school) enter free.
How to Buy Tickets

We recommend buying tickets online in advance to avoid waiting in line on site. You can buy online through the official website (shibuya-scramble-square.com) or platforms such as KKday and Klook. SHIBUYA SKY uses a timed-entry system with a cap on visitors for each slot. Since April 2025, official website WEB tickets go on sale at 0:00 Japan time, 2 weeks before the entry date. Popular slots around sunset sell out quickly, so we suggest deciding on your slot early and buying right when sales open.
Official website WEB tickets can be canceled free of charge up to the day before the entry date. If the rooftop deck closes during your designated entry slot because of rain, strong wind or other weather, you can also cancel free of charge on the same day before entry (the indoor observation gallery on the 46th floor stays open as usual). On-site counter tickets are not eligible for cancellation, and tickets from third-party platforms follow each platform’s own rules.
Notes on Buying Tickets
When buying, make sure you select the correct date and time and that your ticket details are accurate. You must arrive within your designated time slot; if you are late, you may need to wait for an opening or reschedule.
